Software.
Why isn't there one program to do it all?
Until recently, I used Poser and then Photoshop to make my pictures.
That is, of course, when I was in the picture making mood which, again, I now am.
So, I dusted off Poser, installed sheds of content, and began playing.
And that was the point where I remembered how annoying Vicky 4 can be. Her shoulders, hips, and thighs are more annoying than they should be. So much so that I *still* use Vicky 3 and Aiko 3 (don't start me on the horror that is Aiko 4).
Sooo, I saw Daz was giving away Studio 4 Pro.
So I downloaded, re-installed some content, and saw that I could use V4 there. But. No morphs. Not unless I buy packages and addins to bring everything across.
Oh well, so I thought I'd see how Daz's Genesis looks in an IBL render.
Mistake.
There must be *some* reason Daz doesn't want to use IBL, some reason why they make you have to cheat it in by creating an inverted sphere with an emitting texture. Yeah, really!
So, back to Poser, IBL, exporting to Photoshop formats, and all the things I know.
Maybe when Daz Studio 5 comes out it will be worth a look.
Or if Daz finally releases Genesis/V5/M5/whatever for Poser, maybe not.
Grrr.
